This collection will help you recreate a section of the much-admired Glasshouse Border at the RHS Garden Wisley. Designed by the renowned Tom Stuart-Smith, it will fill your garden with dazzling jewel-like colours throughout the summer.

Each collection contains one of each of the following plants, all supplied in 9cm nursery pots:

Salvia nemorosa ‘Amethyst’: Upright, slender spires of lilac-purple flowers form in midsummer above the ground-hugging, aromatic foliage. Perfect for adding vertical interest to herbaceous borders. Grows to 1m.
Geranium ‘Orion’: A spreading cranesbill, which throughout summer is covered with violet-blue flowers that have purple veining and a white eye. Fast growing and vigorous for quick cover. Grows to 80cm.
Geranium Patricia (‘Brempat’): Low growing mounds of dark green leaves topped with magenta flowers. This geranium is a sterile hybrid of Geranium psilostemon and has an exceptionally long flowering period. In autumn the deeply cut, dark green leaves turn fabulous shades of red. An excellent plant for the middle of a border. Grows to 60cm.
Euphorbia palustris: Long-lasting bright yellow flowerheads form at the ends of the stems in late spring and a second flush may appear in late summer. Planting in a sunny position will encourage good autumn colour. Grows to 90cm.

Planting tips:

Prepare the bed well by digging in lots of composted organic matter before you plant. For best results it is essential that the plants are kept well watered for the first year, particularly during the warm weather.
